Mission

NAMI Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties Ohio is dedicated to improving the lives of family members, friends and persons with mental illness through education, outreach, referral, support and advocacy.

Who We Are

What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties is an affiliate of NAMI Ohio. NAMI Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties and dedicated volunteer members and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy and support group programs for people in our community living with mental illness and their loved ones. NAMI is an alliance of more than 600 local Affiliates and 48 State Organizations who work in your community to raise awareness.
